OUR ADDRESS

New Project (3).png

We have known each other since we were children. We grew up in the same neighborhood and went all through school together. Terry was my first date in high school – but it ended there. We both graduated and went our separate ways. That was in 1983.

In 2010, by chance, we met again through a mutual friend. It was love at first (ok, maybe not first) but after 27 years, first sight.

We realized that we were a perfect fit. I had two children, a boy and a girl and he had two children, two boys. They loved each other and we formed our new family. We were engaged 1 year to the date that we met again and were married 3 months later.

We are so blessed to have found one another again, and can’t believe that after all these years, we could find such happiness. This all began on March 12, 2010 or….3/12.We wish everyone all of the love and joy that we have found. Although we, of course, celebrate our wedding anniversary – Our 3/12 Anniversary will always be the start of it all.

HISTORY

Centlivre Family

Brewery opens on Spy Run Avenue in Fort Wayne

After moving here from France, the Centlivre family builds a large facility to manufacture their top quality beer. Located downtown Fort Wayne on the St. Mary's river on what is now Spy Run Av.

CENTLIVRE
BREWERY OPENS

A devastating fire burns most of the facility. The resiliency and creativity of the Centilvre family allows them to rebuild quickly. Then outlast both the world wars and the great depression.

BREWERY FIRE DECLARING THE FACILITY A TOTAL LOSS

In 1954 Old Crown beer was growing in popularity. So the garages behind the property were built to store the large delivery trucks. These buildings are still standing today and 3/12 hopes to renovate them to give men a place to get ready as well.

OLD CROWN BEER IS GROWING IN POPULARITY

Aller nearly 100 years of business the brewery

must close shortly alter becoming employee owned.
The pressure of the larger national brewers proved to be too much, forcing did Grown to close their doors. You can find still tind the Old Grown coffee shop here in Fort Wayne, which is a local favorite place to get great quality cottee and beer. And now Brewerks is brewing the original Old Crown beer reope.
